The TOP-200 Ukraine ranking has been compiled for the 19th consecutive year. This year’s assessment was based on ten key indicators — six international and four national. For the first time, special attention was paid to the role of artificial intelligence in the scientific, innovative and social activities of universities.
Representatives of 13 Ukrainian cities entered the top 20 of the ranking. Most universities are from Kyiv — six institutions. Also among the leaders are universities from Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Uzhhorod.

The organisers emphasise that the assessment is based on the principles of transparency, objectivity and European integration approaches. The data for the ranking is taken from leading international platforms, including QS, Times Higher Education, Scopus, SCImago and University Impact Rankings.
According to Euroeducation experts, this comprehensive approach allows for the consideration of not only academic indicators, but also the social role of universities and their contribution to sustainable development and innovation.
