The RED HUB, an innovation space of the Ukrainian Red Cross designed to support social entrepreneurship and contribute to the country’s economic recovery, was officially opened in Kyiv. The initiative is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to make positive changes and see business as a tool to influence society.

The opening was attended by representatives of international organisations, donor funds, the public sector and government agencies. Among the guests were representatives of the Ministry of National Unity and the State Employment Centre of Ukraine. This line-up of participants underlines the importance of supporting entrepreneurial initiatives at all levels.
The RED HUB has already become a platform for the REDpreneurUA programme implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross and supported by the Neighbour in Need Foundation. The space combines educational opportunities, mentoring support, consultations, and a platform for partnerships to promote the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem with a social focus.
