This year’s march was dedicated to Ukrainian children who were illegally taken by Russia from the temporarily occupied territories. The marchers supported the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA, which aims to return every abducted child home. The Embassy of Ukraine in the UK stressed that these crimes should not go unpunished, and those responsible should be brought to justice.

The march started in Hyde Park, passed through Marble Arch, Lancaster Gate and Notting Hill, and ended at the monument to Prince Volodymyr the Great in Holland Park. The event was not only a cultural demonstration, but also a symbol of solidarity, resistance, and remembrance. Participants honoured the fallen defenders, expressed support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and demonstrated unity around the values of freedom, dignity, and justice.

The Embassy emphasised that such initiatives strengthen Ukraine’s voice in the international arena and help spread the truth about the war and its consequences. Participation in such events is an important step in the struggle for justice and the return of Ukrainian children home.
