Ukrainian farmers will receive over UAH 390 million in grant support from the World Bank. This is the second tranche of international assistance since the beginning of the year aimed at developing agriculture. The funds were announced by Vitaliy Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Part of the funding, including more than UAH 56 million, will be used to support farms that keep cows, and more than UAH 2 million will be allocated to owners of sheep and goats. The remaining funds will be distributed in the form of subsidies of UAH 4,000 per hectare to support agricultural activities.
Earlier, as part of the first tranche, over UAH 386 million was allocated to 7,766 farms and agricultural producers. The Minister thanked the international partners for their support and noted that the Ministry continues to cooperate with international organisations to attract new investments in the sector.
