As part of the infrastructure project of the Ministry of Education and Science, the regions have already purchased 110 new school buses. In total, the state has allocated UAH 1.6 billion to purchase more than 600 buses for Ukrainian communities in 2025.

Procurement is carried out through the Professional Procurement system, which ensures transparency, speed, and compliance with technical requirements. Ivano-Frankivsk region has been the most active, having already purchased 40 buses and used more than 85% of its subvention.
New transport is critical to the development of accessible education in Ukraine. The buses bring students from villages to hub educational institutions, help implement the reform of specialised high schools, and provide transportation to educational institutions equipped with shelters. This is especially important for children in frontline areas where logistics are often difficult.
