After a period of abnormal heat, when temperatures reached +22 °C in the southern regions, a significant cold snap is forecast for Ukraine. According to weather forecasters, starting from 15 March, the temperature will start to drop, starting with the western and northern regions.

On 15 March, there may be light rain in Kyiv, with daytime temperatures of +5…+7 °C. On 16 March, no precipitation is expected, and the temperature will fluctuate between +2…+5 °C. On 17 March, a sharp cold snap is forecast, which will last throughout the next working week. Warming is expected to resume by 22-23 March.
In the western and northern regions, rain and sleet are likely to fall starting 16 March. The temperature at night may drop to 0 °C, and during the day it will not exceed +3…+9 °C. In the south and east of the country, it will be slightly warmer, but precipitation is also possible.
Forecasters warn of possible frosts and advise taking weather conditions into account when planning outdoor activities.
