On 4 March, Ukraine started paying indexed pensions, increased by 11.5%. In total, more than 10 million pensioners will receive the increase, the Ministry of Social Policy reported.
Who has their pensions increased?
9.2 million pensioners who receive pensions on a general basis.
672,000 former employees of law enforcement agencies.
98,000 people receiving disability or survivor benefits due to the Chernobyl disaster.
79.6 thousand pensioners with war-related disabilities and combatants receiving minimum pensions.
23.4 thousand former civil servants and local government employees.

How much will the payments increase?
The average pension increase will be UAH 556.
The average pension will increase from UAH 5789 to UAH 6345.
What else will change?
Indexation of monthly insurance payments for 158,000 victims of industrial accidents or occupational diseases. Starting from 1 April, pensions for 629,000 working pensioners will be automatically recalculated based on the updated insurance period. The payments will be made as usual, and all pensioners will receive the increased amounts according to the schedule.
