The IPN Search and Identification Bureau is currently preparing new applications for exhumation work in Ukraine, which will be submitted to the Ukrainian side in the near future.
As a reminder, in January 2025, Ukraine granted permission for the exhumation of Polish victims of the 1945 Volyn tragedy to take place in April. The work will be carried out by experts from the Freedom and Democracy Foundation, which previously discovered the remains of the victims in Puzhnyky, Ternopil Oblast.
