According to the Public Health Centre, 121,114 cases of SARS were recorded in Ukraine from 20 to 26 January 2025, of which 67,722 were among children. Compared to the previous week, the number of cases increased by 13.6%, and among children — by 23.4%.
The intensive incidence of SARS, including COVID-19, is 336.2 per 100 thousand people. This is 30.4% below the epidemic threshold for Ukraine, but 13.6% higher than last week. During the same period, 329 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, three of which were fatal. All of those who died had not been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past year.

Laboratory tests confirmed the presence of influenza viruses of types A (not subtyped, A(H1)pdm09, A(H3)) and B in 186 cases out of 804 samples tested. These data were obtained as part of routine and sentinel epidemiological surveillance.
During the reporting week, 1,000 people received preventive flu vaccinations, of whom 407 belong to medical and epidemic risk groups.
