In less than a day after the launch of the new programme by the Ministry of Veterans, more than 5,000 veterans applied for UAH 1,500 to pay for sports.
‘In just one day, we received about 5,000 applications without any additional advertising. We plan to reach 100,000 veterans this year, and if demand increases, we will increase funding. The programme is designed for two years, but if necessary, we will work to extend it,’ said Minister Natalia Kalmykova.
‘The innovative Diia.Card technology, on the basis of which we launched this project, has no analogues in the world. It allows a person to use one card with different accounts linked to it. We saw that it becomes inconvenient for customers to use a large number of cards. That is why the Diia.Card solution simplifies the process and makes it more comfortable,’ said Andriy Hrytseniuk, Deputy CEO of Diia.
