The State Service of Ukraine for Children has prepared documents for the payment of a one-time cash benefit of 50,000 UAH to 65 children who have returned from temporarily occupied territories. Among them are eight children deprived of parental care and one orphan.
According to the Head of the Service, Petro Dobromilsky, each story of return is a separate path of struggle and adaptation. The state’s task is not only to return children home, but also to create safe conditions for their development.
The documents for the payments were prepared by the Service’s specialists in cooperation with partners – the NGO Save Ukraine and the Smile UA Charitable Foundation. They developed individual return and reintegration plans for each child, taking into account their age, health, developmental characteristics and future place of residence.
