The Ukrainian Red Cross is assisting victims of the mass attack in Kyiv

The aftermath of the massive attack continues to be dealt with in Kyiv. The rapid response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross is working at the site of the shelling, where volunteers are providing first aid and support to the victims and their families. An aid station has been set up at the site, where people can get water, tea or coffee, charge their phones and rest.

Volunteers from the Darnytskyi District Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross have also joined the response. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the death toll has risen to eight, including one child. Forty-five people were injured.

Rescue operations are continuing, and special services, together with humanitarian organisations, are providing support to residents and victims of the attack.
