The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision expanding the list of categories of persons eligible for free dental services and dentures. This decision is aimed at strengthening social protection for those who have suffered from the war or are directly involved in defending the state.
From now on, not only servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also foreign servicemen and stateless persons who are serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence, the State Special Transport Service, and the National Guard of Ukraine under contract can benefit from the programme. The list also includes persons released from captivity.
The aim of this expansion is not only to improve the quality of life of these categories, but also to restore their health after trauma, stressful circumstances and injuries, which often affect the condition of their teeth and oral cavity.
To receive free dental care and prosthetics services, you must contact the medical institutions participating in the programme. The current list of institutions is available at the link. In addition, you can get advice by calling the short number 16-77, where you will be provided with information about the nearest service point.
