The Ukrainian mobile app Air Raid Alert will now remind users daily about the nationwide minute of silence in honour of those who died as a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The developers of the platform have already implemented the corresponding update.
Every day at 9:00 a.m., app users will receive a voice notification: ‘Attention! National minute of silence. Let us honour the memory of those who died as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack on Ukraine!’ This will be followed by the sound of a clock ticking, symbolising memory and respect.

According to the developers, this feature has become part of broader informational support for Ukrainians during the war. The app works as a free service for notifications about air, chemical, man-made and other types of threats. It remains accessible even in silent mode on your smartphone.
To receive notifications, you need to install the app on your phone, grant the necessary permissions (especially for iOS users) and select your region, district, community or city. The app is available for download on iOS and Android.
According to the developers, as of mid-2025, more than 8 million Ukrainians are actively using the app. Last year, a feature was added to the app that provides notifications from regional administrations and civil protection services about various dangers, natural disasters, and instructions on what to do in emergency situations.
