Ukrzaliznytsia has presented a new family project, “Traveller’s Passport,” which aims to make train travel even more interesting for children. The idea behind the initiative is to turn every trip into a little adventure with a stamp collection that will remind children of the cities and stations they have visited.

The children’s “Traveller’s Passport” can be obtained free of charge from a station assistant at one of five main stations — in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv or Vinnytsia. There, children will be explained how to use the document, where to collect stamps and how to exchange them for rewards in the “Iron Friends” loyalty programme.
Stamps are issued not only at the main stations, but also at stations in 11 other cities, as well as by the managers of flagship trains and conductors of children’s carriages. Each city has its own unique stamp, and for every five different stamps, the child receives 5,000 hugs in the Ukrzaliznytsia app. If you collect 15 different stamps, you can receive a special gift from the company.
Stamps can be exchanged for hugs by station “angels” or through online support. To do this, simply present your completed “Traveller’s Passport” and the bonuses will appear in your user profile.
