As part of the Ukrainian President’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative, three Ukrainian teenagers who had been living in temporarily occupied territories for a long time were rescued. Despite constant pressure and danger, they all continued to study at Ukrainian schools online and deliberately refused to attend Russian educational institutions.
The rescued children are currently in Ukrainian-controlled territory, receiving the necessary assistance and psychological support. All three intend to enrol in Ukrainian universities to get an education at home and build their future in Ukraine.
The rescue of the children was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Helping to Leave team, which helped organise their safe evacuation. The Bring Kids Back UA initiative aims to return all Ukrainian children who were forced to remain or be taken outside the controlled territories due to the war.
