On 11-12 June 2025, the Forum “Humanitarian Architecture and Development of the Civil Protection System in Ukraine” will be held at the Parkovy Exhibition and Convention Centre in Kyiv. The event will bring together representatives of the government, civil society, international organisations and business to discuss a new model of civil protection in the context of war and post-war recovery.
The Forum will be attended by MPs, representatives of relevant ministries, the State Emergency Service, international humanitarian agencies, experts and Ukrainian business leaders.
Key speakers include:
Maksym Dotsenko (CEO of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society), Natalia Kozlovska (Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine), Oleg Bondarenko (Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy), Roman Gryshchuk (MP), Volodymyr Demchuk (Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service), Igor Smelyansky (CEO of Ukrposhta), Andriy Bublyk (Director of Corporate Communications at Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine).
The forum will cover key areas of cooperation between the state, the public and international partners in building the civil protection system, in particular:
- coordination of the humanitarian sector with the state security policy;
- post-war demining and safe reconstruction;
- the role of communities in ensuring the resilience of infrastructure;
- Ukraine’s integration into the European civil protection mechanism.
The media will be able to join the discussions, listen to practical cases, take comments from the speakers and witness the joint statement of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on supporting the public sector in the civil protection system.
