Currently, demining is ongoing in the Vilkhivka community of Kharkiv region, and in the Snihurivka, Inhulka and Halytsynove communities of Mykolaiv region. These areas were impacted by active hostilities and may still contain landmines or other explosive remnants of war.
DRC aims to restore these territories to safe use and continues to provide mine safety education. Residents are advised to avoid damaged buildings and abandoned areas and to report suspicious objects. Online mine safety sessions and self-learning resources are available on DRC platforms.
