Since the beginning of 2025, over 53,600 parents have opted for financial compensation instead of the traditional in-kind baby box, with the total amount paid reaching UAH 415.9 million. Meanwhile, more than 12,900 newborns received the baby box in its physical form.
Ukrainian businesses continue to join the programme. In 2025 alone, 326 additional agreements were signed between the State Service and retail outlets. These stores are now part of the official registry available on the Ministry of Social Policy’s website.
Parents can apply for compensation online via the “yeMaliatko” service on the Diia portal. The service is a key example of digital accessibility and efficient public e-services in Ukraine.
