Startup Ukraine has announced the launch of a new veteran business support programme aimed at helping veterans and their families develop entrepreneurial skills to effectively grow and scale their businesses. The programme will last for four months, from May to August 2025, and will include offline trainings, mentoring support, psychological assistance, and the opportunity to receive a grant of up to €6,500 for the 45 best projects. The offline trainings will take place in Lviv (30 May – 1 June), Vinnytsia (3-5 June) and Kyiv (7-9 June).

Programme participants will have access to a three-day practical training, two months of mentoring support in groups, psychological assistance and the opportunity to present their business plans to experts and IOM representatives. In addition, the participants’ stories will be covered in the press and online media to promote veteran businesses.

To participate in the programme, participants must fill out an online application form on the Startup Ukraine website. After analysing the questionnaires and submitted documents, candidates may be invited for an additional interview. The list of participants will be announced no later than three days before the start of the training.
