The United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine has announced a grant competition for civil society organisations seeking to contribute to building an inclusive and just society in the context of post-war recovery. The competition is aimed at supporting initiatives that strengthen access to justice, protect human rights, promote social cohesion and improve medical, social, psychological and rehabilitation services for war-affected people.

Proposals are being accepted in four key areas: assisting national institutions in investigating war crimes, ensuring transparent access to justice, developing strategic communications to strengthen community cohesion, and expanding access to services essential to restoring the health and well-being of people affected by the war. In particular, this includes medical care, psychological support, inclusive education and assistive technologies.
Organisations from all regions of Ukraine can apply. The deadline for submission is 11 May for projects in the area of social cohesion, and 15 May for initiatives in the other three areas.
The competition is part of UNDP projects with financial support from the Government of Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
