More than 25,000 servicemen have benefited from free dental care since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of the year, 25,504 servicemen and women have received free dental prosthetics and routine dental care. Currently, these services are provided by 411 medical institutions that have signed a contract with the NHSU.

This year, the state has already paid UAH 55 million to providers of such services, and the budget provides for almost UAH 750 million by the end of 2025.

The programme ‘Dental Prosthetics for Certain Categories of Persons Who Defended the Independence, Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of Ukraine’ was launched in April 2024 by the Ministry of Health jointly with the NHSU. Since then, 70,486 defenders have received such services. The programme is open to combatants and people with war-related disabilities.
