The animal protection organisation UAnimals has launched a platform called Balachka with mini-lectures on various topics. You can watch them for a donation of 200 hryvnias or more – all the money raised will be donated to animal rescue.
Currently, there are 14 lectures available on creativity, business, art, barrier-free access, history, sexuality education, artificial intelligence, healthy eating and self-care, time management, learning English, and even sign language in communication with dogs.
‘Most of the lectures have nothing to do with animals, but each of them is about saving animals. We chose the lecturers to cover as many different areas as possible and those whose ‘talks’ we would love to hear ourselves,’ says UAnimals founder Oleksandr Todorchuk.
The ‘talks’ last from 10 to 40 minutes, and each of them also includes a bonus video from the ‘Top 5’ from the selected speaker.
