The call for applications for the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2025 has started. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science. This year, for the ninth time, teachers who innovate and change the lives of students will be honoured.
The winner will receive one million hryvnias to implement their own educational project and represent Ukraine at the Global Teacher Prize.
‘This is a chance to express yourself, become part of important changes and express gratitude to those who inspire, support, innovate and shape the future of Ukraine,’ the Ministry of Education and Science wrote.
In addition to the main award, there are special honours:
‘Teacher of Mathematics’.
‘STEM Teacher’.
‘Choice of the Heart’ – for teachers who teach children in hospitals;
‘Ukrainians’ Choice – based on the results of voting on the Diia.Osvita platform.
You can submit an application or nominate a teacher by 1 July at the link. Applications can be submitted by the teacher, his or her students, parents or colleagues.
