Ukrainians can now obtain a digital single certificate in the Diia app. This innovation has no analogues in the world, and is already available to anyone who is not officially married or divorced.

To generate a certificate, you need to update Diia, select ‘Add document’ and confirm the data. The information is checked in the state register, which allows you to make sure that there is no existing marriage.
The document has a non-standard format: users can upload their own photo, indicate their interests, and even design it themselves. The main feature is a QR code that can be used to quickly confirm status or even dating.
The service was developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the State Enterprise NAIS. According to the developers, it is not only an entertainment tool but also a way to increase digital trust and protect users from fraud, particularly in the online dating sphere.
